Make Money Writing Articles – 2010
What is Article Marketing?
In this marketing method, you will be writing articles to earn money online. This method of advertisement has been used for years now in the newspapers industry. Now that the internet has taken over, we’ve transferred from the old print days to the new online method. A method, that if used correctly, can earn you more money than most careers will.
One of the reasons I love Article Marketing is because it free. Say you absolutely love making sandwiches. You can write an article about how much you love making sandwiches. Tell people how you spread your mayonnaise on your bread, and while you’re doing it, promote a mayonnaise product. People will buy the mayonnaise product because they want to make their sandwiches just like you. That’s money in your pocket! You generated the sale!
So how exactly do you get paid?
Well there are a couple methods people use. It really depends on the product. For instance, I first started out selling a product called the “Black Box” which my marketing group, Carbon Copy Pro, provided me with. Every time I sold one of these I would make $150 dollars. I wrote a good article and ended up making about 3-4 sales a day. That was $600 dollars a day. Imagine if you did this with 3-4 different products. That’s $1,800 dollars a day, $12,600 dollars a week, $50,400 a month, $604,800 a year!!!! Must I say anymore?
How to write an interesting article?
Before we start, please remember that the point of writing your articles is to eventually make money. This is a business people. If you want to make money from it your need to stay focused. Don’t just write one article and stop. Keep writing! Maximize your profits with every method you use!
Now let’s get to the good stuff. Here are some steps to writing an interesting article.
1) Write an interesting heading. This is CRITICAL! You want to have an interesting header so it draws attention to your article. The more traffic your header brings, the more people will see your product. The more people that see your product, the more sales that you make! At the end of this lesson I will provide you with a link that will show you in detail how to perform each of these steps
2) Write an interesting story. After you draw attention to your article, you need to satisfy your reader by putting valuable content about your header. So if your header is, “learn how to make sandwiches”, you better make some real good sandwiches in your page. If you can draw interest and provide value, you will find that more people will be willing to buy what you have.
3) Put a link to your product in your article. There are ways that you can put links to your products naturally in your writing. This is a very important step when writing a good article. You want to put links into guide, but you don’t want to make it look like a sales page. Not only will people dislike you for it, but GOOGLE will slap you around for it.
4) DO NOT COPYRIGHT! Many people are tempted to copy and paste information to their articles thing it will never catch up to them. For all of you think this, know there are programs specifically designed to find copyright! Always give credibility to the owner of the information you use. Unless you enjoy sitting in court and getting sued I would strongly suggest you do not copy and paste!
5) Marketing! If you followed all of the steps above, you can now start marketing your article. There are numerous ways you can go about doing this. You can start by submitting your articles on article directories like EzineArticles. You can find more of these by going to Google and searching “article directories.”
If you have a WordPress you can also write and post your articles there. It could serve as a base for all of your information. You can save all your articles on your own website which people will come and visit.
