How to Make Extra Money Online – Duplicate Content
If you want to make extra money online from article marketing then you must keep your article content unique. There are many products on the internet that promote the use of mass article production & mass article submission. These article submitters encourage you to basically submit the same article to literally hundreds of free enzine submission sites. I will try to explain what I believe happens if you do this. In my view it is virtually a waste of time and effort, when the search engines spiders crawl over the article almost all of them will be ignored.
If we take Google as an example. If we submit an article to one of the ezine sites, Google will take a look at the article and it will assess the content and it will probably say that’s Ok the article has good content, it is unique, I like the article so I will give it a Google page rankling of say 5.
So, if you have submitted the same article to other sites Google will start to do the same and initially it will look at the article and access it the same and who knows award a page ranking even higher. For each article you will have a series of page rankings and all looks really good.
The problem is however that at some point Google is going to catch on to the this and start to think, hold on a minute here article 2 is the same or almost the same as article 1 and article 3 is also almost the same as article 1. You could initially have say one hundred articles with various page rankings and as I say this starts to look really good.
Google however, is starting to smell a rat. It looks at article 2 and say’s hold on a minute here article 1 has the same content here. I have page ranked that article as 5, I am therefore going to ignore article 2. It moves on the article 3 and then ignores article 3. Eventually you end up possibly only one article out of submission of hundreds.
I am no SEO expert and this is my simplistic view of what goes on with the search engines and this could be why the mass submitters initially have some success but it does not take the search engines long to catch on. If you want to make extra money online and you want to submit to more than one article submission site then you must keep the content unique. If you do not you could be wasting your time.
