First Step
Keywords baby – Your keywords will determine who sees your content so don’t miss this. When writing content you shouldn’t try and optimize for too many keywords Stick with just 1 or 2.
Start by using your keyword in the title. Try and get your keyword to be the first word of of your title. The reason for this is that the search engine spiders read from left to right so if your chosen keyword is the first thing they read you have a better chance at ranking.
Then use it several times in your article and try and use it as many times as you can. EzineArticles will let you know when your content is too keyword dense so you’ll never have to worry about the keyword penalty.
Make sure you add your keyword as the first tag, then lastly put in anchor text in the resource box. Anchor text is the text that’s a different colour and usually contains a text.

How To Use My Sneaky Method To Get Backlinks
This is a sneaky method that I use and it works like magic. After your initial submission start submitting to other directories. Use article submission software to submit to hundreds of article directories. I personally use Automatic Article Submitter, this handy piece of software has some jaw droppingly great features.
The mistake that most marketers make, when submitting content is they submit the same content linking to a lead capture page. That is flat out the wrong way to do it, what you’re meant to be doing is promoting one piece of content and from your content leads should be lead back to your capture page.
Now for the sneaky part. Go back to your original content and go back to your resource box and in the anchor text make it point to your original piece of content. Google will count this link and push your content higher.
This is a great way to kick start your link building process because when you submit to other directories you get direct traffic as well as search engine traffic. When other websites pick your content up they’ll keep your resource box along with the links intact and the anchor text will point back to your original piece of content creating a viral effect.
Keeping your content up at the top means you must continually link to those articles, especially if those articles are bringing in fresh leads everyday.
